JKR Group Holdings Ltd is a family-owned and operated business comprising four divisions: JKR Contractors Ltd, JKR Quarries and Concrete Products Ltd, JKR Farms Ltd, and JKR Holdings Ltd.

The company was founded in 2007 by Jim, Kevin, and Ryan Taylor as JKR Contractors Ltd, with an initial turnover of £500,000. Over the years, the company has grown and diversified, incorporating additional businesses.

JKR Holdings Ltd was established in 2016, followed by the formation of JKR Farms Ltd in 2018. In 2020, JKR Quarries and Concrete Products Ltd was founded following the acquisition of Chap Quarries from the Chap Group. In 2024, JKR Group Holdings Ltd was formally established. Today, the Group employs over 180 dedicated professionals, all trained to the highest industry standards.

Headquartered near Ellon, Aberdeenshire, JKR Group Holdings has remained focused on providing reliable, high-quality services to our clients since inception. Through strategic growth and investment, we have expanded our operations, securing larger projects and increasing our turnover from £500,000 in 2007 to £40,000,000 in 2025.

JKR Quarries and Concrete Products Ltd supplies a comprehensive range of natural and recycled sands, aggregates, and ready-mix concrete, both delivered and collected from our three quarries located throughout Aberdeenshire.

Park Quarry, Drumoak: Offering natural and recycled sands, aggregates, and ready-mix concrete as well as an inert tipping and recycling plant.
Balmedie Quarry: Home to our primary concrete plant, providing ready-mix concrete for both delivery and collection.
Muirtack Quarry (opening 2025): Will offer an expanded range of natural and recycled sands and aggregates.
